Social Enterprise and community resilience to the downturn
A EURES Crossborder seminar on ‘Social Enterprise and community resilience to the downturn’ shall take place on Tuesday 24th May 2011 at 1.00 pm in the Tower Hotel in Derry. To book a place please contact Eileen Millar on 028 9096 1111
The seminar shall introduce the concept of Social Economy and consider the feasibility of community led enterprises. The products, current and potential, within the social economy and how they are marketable shall be considered. Obstacles to accessing markets, the role of the public and private sectors and cross border barriers will further inform the discussion. As a part of the seminar there will be Irish, Northern Irish and International perspectives.
