Important- BURC’s Welfare Advice service

This is a very worrying time for everyone and we understand that you, the community will still need assistance for benefit claims, advice or assistance.  We want to reassure our clients that while BURC has closed the building from Thursday 19th March 2020 and suspended all face-to-face advice for the time being, the welfare service is still operating. Facebook is another option to contact the welfare advice service, https://www.facebook.com/joanne.burc.3.

We understand that not everyone has access to the internet or emails, if you need advice or assistance email: Joanne.Farrell@burc.org and your enquiry will be answered. If you know of anyone that does not have access to these tools they can ring: 028 9096 1111 and you can speak with a member of staff.

If you have an appointment at your local Jobs & Benefits office and you cannot attend because you are ill or are following guidance to self-isolate, you need to contact your adviser as soon as you can. If you are in receipt of Universal Credit, you can let your adviser know if you get sick or cannot attend through your UC app.

You can check the PHA website for regular updates on how to stay safe and protect your family https://www.publichealth.hscni.net/
